Ofcom publishes consultation on amending the PRS Condition

Ofcom today published its consultation on amending the PRS Condition, which defines the providers who must comply with directions made by PhonepayPlus, the UK regulator of premium rate telephone services (PRS).

Ofcom considers that such an amendment is necessary for the successful implementation of PhonepayPlus’ new Code of Practice. The consultation is open from today, 11 May 2011, and closes for responses on 22 June 2011.
