PhonepayPlus publishes information on ADR requirements

PhonepayPlus today publishes an information note on alternative dispute resolution requirements for premium rate services.

From 1 October 2015, new regulations established in UK law dealing with alternative dispute resolution (ADR) requirements take effect. The new requirements are designed to improve access to low cost services available for the resolution of consumer disputes and will have an impact on premium rate service providers involved in business to consumer transactions.

The regulations require consideration and potential action from Level 2 providers. PhonepayPlus’ information note provides further information about ADR services, the new regulations and its requirements.
