PSA appoints Winnie Palmer to the Board

The Phone-paid Services Authority is announcing the appointment of Winnie Palmer to its Board of Directors.

Winnie is currently on the Board of Greenwich University and an adviser on go-to-market to various international businesses. Previously Winnie has a background in the tech and mobile sectors, having worked in senior roles for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Huawei, Microsoft and Nokia.  

Winnie’s term will begin on 1 November 2020. 

David Edmonds CBE, Chairman of the PSA, said: “I’m delighted Winnie will be joining the Board in November. With her experience working in mobile, marketing and technology, Winnie will bring a fresh set of perspectives to the Board. I’m sure she will help us set the right regulatory direction for a mature market to meet the needs of consumers.” 

Winnie Palmer said: “I’m very much looking forward to join the PSA Board. With a new Code being developed, it’s a great time to be working with both the Board and Executive.”
