New appointments to the Code Adjudication Panel
The Phone-paid Services Authority has appointed Desiree Artesi and Simon Lewis as legally qualified chairs of the Code Adjudication Panel (CAP).
Desiree is a practising barrister at Thomas More Chambers with a focus on Judicial Review, Privy Council work, and Regulatory Law. Desiree joined the CAP as a lay member in September 2020. She will take up her role as a legally qualified chair in July, when Linda Lee steps down from the CAP after 8 years.
Simon Lewis is a Barrister and Judge practising mainly in employment and equality law. In addition, he has a number of regulatory roles, including at the ACCA and General Optical Council, and non-executive roles, including on the Board of the Asda Foundation and Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. Simon has replaced Professor Ian Walden who has stepped down from his role after 4 years.
