Changing your computer screen settings
On many computers running Windows you can increase the size of your Internet browser window by holding down the ‘Ctrl’ button and pressing the ‘+’ key. To reduce the size again hold down the ‘Ctrl’ button and press the ‘-‘ key.
Alternatively, click Start and select Control Panel, Display and then Settings. From here you can change the size of the desktop area using the sliding bar.
On an Apple Macintosh‚ you can use the Monitor and Sound Control Panel options to adjust screen size.
Changing mouse, keyboard and sound settings
To personalise the settings on your mouse and keyboard click Start, Control Panel and select Accessibility Options. From here you can select the Keyboard, Sound, Display, Mouse or General tabs and tailor the settings to suit your needs.
Page scrolling
Some people may find it difficult to use the mouse to move pages up and down. Instead, try using the arrow keys or the ‘Page Up’ and ‘Page Down’ buttons.
