Summary

PhonepayPlus has published an adjudication by Consent order (“Consent Order”) relating to Remote Games Limited. The case was raised by PhonepayPlus following receipt of complaints in relation to a skill-based prize draw subscription competition service. Following discussions between PhonepayPlus and Remote Games Limited, it was agreed that, in the circumstances of the case, it was not in the interest of the parties to pursue the matters further through an oral hearing and it was thereby settled according to the terms set out in the Consent Order and in accordance with paragraph 3.16(d) of Annex 2 of the Code.
