Julian Weinberg appointed to PhonepayPlus’ independent panel of adjudicators

Julian joins the independent panel of legally-qualified and lay members that convenes each fortnight to adjudicate on cases investigated by PhonepayPlus. His appointment will begin in September this year.

With nearly 30 years’ experience in law, Julian Weinberg brings a wealth of experience as a current Chair and member of several regulatory panels and professional conduct committees including those of the Architects Registration Board, the Nursing and Midwifery Council and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and formerly for the Solicitors Regulation Authority and General Teaching Council. He serves as a Case Examiner for the General Optical Council and is an Assessor for the Legal Aid Agency. As a criminal solicitor, Julian is a Higher Court Advocate.

Speaking about the appointment, Acting Chief Executive of PhonepayPlus, Joanne Prowse said:
