PhonepayPlus publishes its Annual Report for 2014/15

PhonepayPlus, the UK’s independent regulator of premium rate services, today publishes its Annual Report for 2014/15.

Revenues for the UK PRS market were over £560 million with nearly 3,000 organisations providing premium rate services in 2014/15.

The report highlights a number of areas, including information on our new outcomes based Code of Practice; our work with the premium rate industry to provide services that deliver good outcomes for consumers; and our engagement with consumers to ensure issues are dealt with quickly, easily and fairly.

The report also has information on our work supporting innovative payment options like operator billing on app stores, including Google Play, research into consumer vulnerability and information on PhoneBrain, our children’s education programme.
