PhonepayPlus today publishes its Annual Report for 2015/16
The Annual Report 2015/16 provides an overview of PhonepayPlus’ work over the last twelve months and includes our audited annual accounts.
The report outlines what PhonepayPlus has done in the last year to promote competition and innovation in the market and to protect consumers.
In the last year:
- we introduced a new Code of Practice, strengthening the transparency and independence of our adjudicatory process
- there were an estimated 23 million UK premium rate services users, and there was growth in new market areas.
Looking ahead to the coming year, we will be changing our name to the Phone-paid Services Authority, in autumn and work is underway to develop our regulatory framework.
