Ann Cook reappointed to PSA Board

The Phone-paid Services Authority is announcing the re-appointment of Ann Cook to its Board of Directors.

Ann joined the Phone-paid Services Authority Board in 2016 as an industry member. In addition, Ann is the Chair of the Phone-paid Services Authority's Industry Liaison Panel. 

Her new three-year term will begin on 1st January 2019.  

David Edmonds CBE, Chairman of the PSA, said: 

“I’m delighted that Ann has been re-appointed to the PSA Board of Directors. Ann brings a great range of experience and her knowledge of media, telecoms, marketing and public relations are invaluable.  We will continue to benefit greatly from her energy and insight.” 

Ann Cook said:  

“I am very pleased to be reappointed to the PSA Board. I look forward to continue to work with the Board and Executive over the next three years to maintain and improve standards in this healthy and innovative market.” 

About the PSA 

The Phone-paid Services Authority is the regulator for content, goods and services charged to a phone bill. 

Phone-paid services include donating to charity by text, digital content including, apps and in-app purchases charged to a phone bill, directory enquiry numbers and television voting and competitions.

About Ann 

Ann Cook is currently Director of Interactive and Managing Director of Interactive Telephony Ltd at ITV. Before joining ITV, Ann held various roles including as Director of International Client Relations for the Associated Press TV News (APTN), Managing Director of the International Division of worldwide research agency, Frank N. Magid Associates and Director of Marketing at Granada Sky Broadcasting.
